Day 1 Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp

Begin your journey with a scenic transfer from Southern Thailand to Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp in Khao Sok, where a warm welcome and a delicious Thai buffet lunch await.

After lunch, embark on a peaceful canoe safari down the Sok River, gliding past towering limestone cliffs and lush rainforest. With a local guide paddling, you’ll have the chance to spot exotic wildlife and soak in the untouched beauty of nature.

The highlight of the day is an unforgettable encounter with Thailand’s gentle giants. At the Elephant Park, you’ll learn about ethical elephant conservation, meet their caretakers (mahouts), and help prepare and feed the elephants in a respectful, hands-off environment.

As evening falls, settle into your luxury safari tent and enjoy optional activities such as Thai dance performances, cooking demonstrations, or a nature documentary. End the day with a jungle-side dinner and drift off to sleep to the soothing sounds of the rainforest.

Day 2 Cheow-Larn Lake & Jungle Trek

Wake to the sounds of the rainforest and enjoy a hearty breakfast at camp before setting off on a scenic journey to Cheow-Larn Lake. Travel by long-tail boat across emerald waters, surrounded by towering limestone karsts and dense jungle.

Arrive at Elephant Hills Lake Camp, one of the world’s only floating luxury tented camps. After a lakeside lunch, embark on a guided jungle trek through one of the oldest rainforests on Earth. Discover exotic flora, towering trees, and the chance to spot wildlife in their natural habitat.

Return to camp for a refreshing swim or simply relax on your private deck as the sun sets over the lake. Enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars and fall asleep to the gentle sounds of nature, floating peacefully on the water.

Day 3 Morning Safari & Departure

Can you book my international airfares?

On some Islands Holiday Packages (e.g. Fiji), it is practical to include flights, so where we have done this it is indicated by the plane icon.

However, on the majority of our Holiday Packages, we do not include international flights.

We found that many customers may prefer to:

Travel on a specific airline of their choice
Have the flexibility to book flights with Frequent Flyer points
Select flight dates that may be different to our Holiday Package start/end dates
Use a Travel Credit already held with the airline
Use their travel agent for this service

We are able to assist with flights on any Holiday Package, so please just notify us during the Book Now process or contact our team.

Should I take travel insurance?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. During the Book Now process please confirm you require assistance, and our team will be in contact with you.

What should I do before travelling?

Before you travel it is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation including visas. If you are travelling on a passport other than Australian or New Zealand, you will require a permit to re-enter Australia. It is your responsibility as the traveller and/or travel booker to meet all government entry requirements.
