Thank you Entire Travel and especially Lisa. Our Tahiti holiday was amazing from start to finish. From the time of booking until we left, the whole experience was so easy and thorough.. Anytime I rang to ask a question,Lisa and staff were beyond helpful. Once we arrived in Tahiti, the transfers went without a hitch, they were there each and every time, once we arrived on Moorea it was beyond paradise. A big thank you to Entire Travel Group with a special thanks to Alison. We had mostly organised our own overseas holidays in the past but being unfamiliar with Canada we thought we would approach a travel agency. Thinking the travel agency would help us we were surprised to be handed a couple of booklets and told to go away and come back when we knew what we wanted to do. One of the booklets was Entire Travel Group so after viewing what was available we decided to contact you directly. That decision changed the Entire course of our traveling experience, excuse the pun. We sent an email to the Entire Group and over the next few days had spoken to Alison who listened, was knowledgeable and responsive to our requests, questions and doubts about travelling to Canada. At the conclusion we had holiday package which we could have only dreamed about. Alison and the team worked wonders and we were extremely happy with a holiday that was brilliant.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We have just returned from a wonderful independent trip through Canada organised by Sam Treby at Entire Travel. Sam took the time to understand what we wanted and put together an itinerary that suited us perfectly. The accommodation, tours and travel arrangements were all excellent and everything ran smoothly throughout the trip. A particular highlight was the interactive itinerary, which was detailed, easy to use and invaluable while travelling. What impressed us most was that the service didn't stop once we departed. When a question arose during the trip, Sam responded promptly and resolved it for us. It was reassuring to know that support was only a message away. We thoroughly enjoyed our Canadian adventure and would happily recommend Entire Travel and Sam to anyone planning a similar holiday.
Awsome Holiday! The best experience Perfectly planned for less hassle 👌 Thank you Cassandra for your help We will definitely be using Entire Travel Group on our next adventure
The United States spans diverse climates, ranging from the tropical warmth of Florida to the arctic chill of Alaska. Summers are generally warm nationwide, while winters bring snow to northern and mountainous regions. Spring and autumn often offer mild weather and stunning natural beauty, like cherry blossoms and fall foliage. Be sure to check the specific destination’s seasonal weather to pack appropriately.
Australian citizens travelling to the United States typically need an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) to enter under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). This allows stays of up to 90 days for tourism or business purposes. The ESTA must be applied for online before departure, and approval is usually quick, though it’s recommended to apply at least 72 hours before your flight. Ensure your passport is valid for the entire duration of your stay. For longer visits, work, or study, you’ll need to apply for the appropriate visa through the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Always double-check the latest entry requirements before your trip.
Getting around the U.S. is made easy with an extensive network of domestic flights, highways, and public transportation options in major cities. Renting a car is ideal for road trips and exploring rural areas, while trains and buses connect many urban and suburban locations. Ride-sharing apps and city transit systems are convenient for short-distance travel in cities.
The United States uses a 120V system with a frequency of 60Hz, and power outlets accept Type A (flat two-prong) and Type B (flat three-prong) plugs. Australian travellers will need a power adapter and may require a voltage converter for devices not designed to handle 120V. Many modern electronics, like phone chargers and laptops, are dual voltage, so check before you pack.
The United States is generally a safe destination, but like any country, it’s important to stay alert in busy urban areas and keep valuables secure. Health facilities are world-class but can be expensive, so comprehensive travel insurance is a must. Vaccinations are not mandatory for Australian travellers, but it’s recommended to stay up to date with routine immunisations. Always carry any prescription medications in their original packaging along with a copy of your prescription.
The U.S. is vast, so planning your itinerary by region or interest is key. Tipping is a common practice in the United States and is expected in many service industries. In restaurants, tipping 15–20% of the bill is standard for good service, while exceptional service may warrant 25% or more. For bartenders, $1–2 per drink is customary. Taxi and rideshare drivers typically receive 10–15% of the fare, and hotel staff, such as bellhops, are often tipped $1–2 per bag. Housekeeping staff appreciate $2–5 per night, left daily. When in doubt, it’s better to tip than not, as tips make up a significant portion of income for service workers.
